Themed events are so much fun and unique; Steampunk wedding just takes this way further!

Working on a themed event, furthermore a themed wedding was so exciting but complex. We needed all of the guests and the vendors to be willing to participate and dress up!

So… What is Steampunk?

Defining the steampunk artistic movement is so difficult but here is what I found online in the website. “Steampunk is an inspired movement of creativity and imagination. With a backdrop of either Victorian England or America’s Wild West at hand, modern technologies are re-imagined and realized as elaborate works of art, fashion, and mechanics. If Jules Verne or H.G. Wells were writing their science fiction today, it would be considered “steampunk.”

The Bride and Groom had a long history of costume designing. They had won Vizcaya’s masquerade ball and have so much talent! It was very important for them to have then entire group of guests be part of the theme and come to the wedding dressed up as well. So many unique decor elements and pieces were used to create a unique event. We had a main focal table inside the barn where the cake was placed that took hours to setup. It’s all about the details…

The event was phenomenal! We were transported in time and it was so much fun!
